Crown Melbourne’s Ashleigh Macdonald has become the complex’s latest staffer accepted into the Australian chapter of the international organisation of hotel concierge, Les Clefs d’Or.
Macdonald joins the exclusive organisation of hotel concierge as one of only three female members, and the first female member appointed from Melbourne in 15 years.
“This is a huge honour for both Ms Macdonald and Crown,” said Peter Crinis, Chief Operating Officer – Crown Hotels and Food and Beverage for Crown Melbourne.
“We are very grateful to have Ashleigh on our team at Crown Melbourne and are thrilled that she has been recognised for her professionalism and excellence.”
Macdonald commenced her career at Crown in 2008 within the food and beverage team before moving across to Concierge in 2010. This recognition highlights the exceptional service she provides guests on a daily basis and her unwavering passion for the industry.
To be accepted into Les Clefs d’Or, Macdonald was required to demonstrate commitment to the continual improvement of service standards and to recognise the valuable role she plays in maintaining Australia’s reputation as a desirable destination for travellers.
