Alpha Hotels and Resorts has this week (June 23) opened the 51-room Alpha Mosaic Hotel Brisbane in Fortitude Valley on schedule.
Alpha Mosaic Hotel Brisbane is located in the heart of Fortitude Valley in an 18-story mixed-use development, along with 213 residential apartments and 10 retail outlets on the corner of Church and Ann Streets.
“We wanted to create a boutique concept hotel that was both design-savvy and appealing to a cross-section of fast-paced business and leisure travellers,” said Alpha Hotels and Resorts Founder and Managing Partner, Jonathan Wooller.
“The hotel has been designed to embrace the eclectic character of Fortitude Valley, and maximise Brisbane’s year-round outdoor climate with balconies off all accommodation, an open-air oasis area off the lobby, and alfresco dining,” he said.
Alpha Mosaic Hotel’s modern interiors and furnishings have been overseen by Cressida Kenney of Space Control who also designed Sydney’s industrial-chic 1888 Hotel. Throughout the hotel there is a strong mix of materials, original bespoke pieces and vintage finds including restored arm chairs and lounges, handmade copper array lighting throughout the reception and eatery and a mosaic-tiled fireplace.
Each of the hotel rooms and apartments are complete with features focussed on comfort and convenience including plush king-sized beds, unique art, WiFi and interactive IPTV to deliver live customised on-demand content. Floor to ceiling glass doors open up to a private balcony and many offer views of the Brisbane city skyline.
Within the hotel, guests have easy access to extensive facilities including the Mosaic Bistro and Bar, a podium-level alfresco oasis to relax with friends or meet for business, 24 hour room service and affordable undercover security parking.
Alpha Hotels and Resorts made its entrance into the market at the start of 2014, opening Alpha Canberra in Tuggerangong in February, followed by Alpha Hotel Eastern Creek in March.
