My Kitchen Rules judge and paleo chef Pete Evans will take up the role of consultant chef and chief menu designer across all aspects of dining at Fraser Suites Perth.
A range of new menus have been designed by Evans for the hotel’s restaurant, which is set to officially re-launch with a new look and name in July, as well as for conferences, events and weddings on site.
Keeping with Evans’ food philosophies, the food offering is designed to provide guests with healthy and thoughtfully crafted food appealing to a range of palates.
“The menus are about well sourced food from the land and sea simply prepared for maximum nourishment,” Evans said.
The range of menus will feature seasonal, organic and local produce where possible, with WA growers like Kununurra watermelons, Mt Barker free range chicken and Dandaragan organic beef from Margaret River all supplying the kitchen.
“Frasers Hospitality value quality and they also value the needs of their guests. We have a wonderful working synergy and share the same goals and philosophy,” Evans said.
Evans will attend the inaugural Fraser Suites Perth Wedding Show on 29 June, where the chef will share his new event menu options with the public for the first time.
Frasers Hospitality General Manager Australia, Matthew Rubie, welcomed the addition of Evans to the Perth team.
“Having Pete Evans consulting across our dining offering at Fraser Suites Perth will add a whole new dimension to the guest experience,” he said. “Perth is quickly establishing itself as a culinary destination and all of us at Fraser Suites Perth are excited to be a part of this growing food scene.”
