The expansion of Accor’s economy Ibis brand portfolio continues with the announcement of a new development, ibis Styles The Entrance, located on the NSW Central Coast.
Developed by the historic diggers@theentrance, the new-build hotel will be a key part of the growing tourism focus for NSW Central Coast.
In a massive boost for the project, AUD$430,000 from the Destination NSW Regional Visitor Economy Fund has been granted towards the development of ibis Styles The Entrance.
This is significant as this amount is close to the maximum possible investment from the NSW Government.
“Accor is pleased to be working in partnership with diggers@theentrance on this exciting new development that we are confident will stimulate travel and contribute strongly to the tourism growth in this region,” said Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer, Simon McGrath.
“We congratulate diggers@theentrance for receiving the funding, which is an important endorsement for this project and the great potential it brings to tourism in this region.
“The addition of ibis Styles The Entrance is a testament to Accor’s strength in the economy hotel sector and reinforces our proven ability to produce a premium economy product in a sector that has rapidly changed over the past decade,” he said.
Set to open in December 2014, ibis Styles The Entrance will house 52 guestrooms, with access to two restaurants, three bars and three meeting rooms.
Ibis Styles The Entrance will be the 28th ibis Styles hotel in Australia, joining the global ibis Styles network of over 260 hotels.
