Brisbane has its first new-build luxury hotel in seven years, located on one of the city’s most popular streets.
Located alongside Gambaro Seafood Restaurant in the Caxton Street entertainment precinct, the Gambaro family’s eponymous hotel opened today.
Only 12 minutes from Brisbane Airport and close to Suncorp Stadium, the new 68 room property offers private access between the Gambaro suite and the adjacent Michael’s room function centre.
Gambaro Hotel General Manager Murray Rowbotham said, “The Gambaro Hotel will be used for business travel, bridal couples and families and each experience will be tailored accordingly. Including making the children feel like important guests.”
There are nine room types to choose from, including five suites featuring top of the range bedding from Sealy’s Exquisite Collection. In addition to this, all rooms have the Appelles Black Label amenities exclusive to the Gambaro Hotel.
The third level of the hotel has a Sunset Lounge terrace that is available for exclusive venue hire for cocktails or silver service dinners.
In addition to the established seafood restaurant and MG Bar, the hotel also has the Black Hide Steakhouse that offers Stanbroke beef from one of Australia’s most esteemed beef breeders and producers.
