Australia and the Pacific are hot spots on the worldwide radar for Starwood, says the company’s President of Global Development, Simon Turner.
Speaking exclusively on camera to HM at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin, Germany, today (Mar 4 local), Turner said the growth in Australia was on the back of a solid management and development team down under that was getting deals done.
He said he was excited at the expansion of all of the company’s brands in Australia and the Pacific and the hotels that were in the development pipeline, including Sheraton Melbourne, Sheraton Resort and Spa Tokoriki Island Fiji, Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Resort and Spa, Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Resort and Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Hotel.
