Komune Resort and Beach Club Bali, in Keramas on Bali’s east coast, has become the first hotel in the world to offer night surfing.
This means each night guests and visitors to Komune Resort and Beach Club Bali can watch the local Bali Boardriders wrestle with the waves in a true spectacle or if they’re game, they can book a night surf with only five others sharing the waves with them.
The property, which opened stage one (33 rooms) in late 2012, is also set to open the second and third stages of this hip resort which overlook the world class surf reef break of Keramas.
The Bali based resort is part-owned by champion Australian surfer Luke Egan.
“Keramas is most hi-fi performance wave in Bali so the action in the water is always electric at Komune Bali,” he said.
The next stage of rooms to open will be 10 Komune Beach Junior Suites in February 2014.
In late 2014 Komune’s luxury Beach villas will be launched. These will enjoy sweeping ocean views that overlook the Keramas right-hander so you can view night surfing from your private villa or if you’re feeling social chill at Komune’s Beach Club to view the action.
Each of the twenty four two and three bedroomed villas have their own private swimming pool, Bose sound system, internet connection, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor showers, BBQ, outdoor lounge, king size beds and a lounge area with surf views.
