Ritz-Carlton has been named as the operator of the 250-room hotel at Perth’s AUD$2.6 billion Elizabeth Quay development after the Far East Consortium reportedly won the right to develop the apartment and hotel component of the project.
According to reports in The Australian and Australian Financial Review, Hong Kong developer Far East has won the rights to develop lots 9 and 10 (which also includes 350 apartments) at Elizabeth Quay, a project located in the heart of Perth’s CBD.
The West Australian Government has been marketing Elizabeth Quay for over two years and is one of several sites available for a hotel project in the city at present.
