Patrick-Imbardelli-new-EDITED

Pan Pacific’s President and CEO, A. Patrick Imbardelli, has resigned from the company.

In a statement released to the Singapore Exchange, the Board of Directors of UOL Group Limited announced Imbardelli’s last day of service would be November 30, 2013 and his resignation is “due to his intention to pursue other career opportunities”.

“The Board of Directors would like to place on record its appreciation for Mr Imbardelli’s services and contributions to PPHG,” UOL Group said.

Imbardelli, the HM magazine Hotelier of the Year at the 2011 HM Awards, has been with Pan Pacific since 2008 and has almost 30 years’ experience in the hotel industry in Australia and Asia-Pacific.

Imbardelli has successfully taken the company to a new chapter in its growth particularly through the rebranding of hotels in Australia under the Pan Pacific and Parkroyal flags, along with the acquisition of a hotel at Melbourne Airport.

He started his career with Hilton before moving to South Pacific Hotels Corporation (SPHC), which was subsequently sold to Bass Hotels and Resorts, a company that was eventually rebranded as InterContinental Hotels Group, for which he held the title of CEO for Asia-Pacific from 2003 to 2007.

Pan Pacific has not announced any succession plans for Imbardelli’s position.
