New Plymouth’s King and Queen Hotel is set to open in the coming weeks.
The property, led by General Manager Daniel Fleming, is a welcome addition to the city’s accommodation bank and will offer 17 designer suites ranging from one to two bedrooms.
Fleming told HM most have private balconies, kitchenettes and sea views, while the property will feature local artwork and the finest European and Moroccan furnishings.
“Bronze Lions and restored French doors guide guests to the hotel entrance where an enchanting painting of a Queen and business man can be seen above the hand crafted European reception desk,” he said.
“It really is a unique and edgy hotel that complemented with the soon to be built Len Lye Art Centre will create an incredible cultural and arts precinct.”
The hotel is located in the CBD and cultural and arts hub of New Plymouth, close to the best restaurants and bars.
Guests will be able to enjoy a range of food and beverage options adjacent to the hotel including a coffee roastery and European styled courtyard.
