The Tourism and Transport Forum (TTF) has announced that Ken Morrison has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Australian industry body.
Morrison will start in the role on Monday May 20 and TTF Chairman Bruce Baird said he brings a wealth of experience.
“We are very pleased to announce Ken Morrison’s appointment as TTF’s new Chief Executive Officer following an extensive search over some months,” Baird said.
“Ken comes to TTF with a great track record in advocacy and public policy.
“His lengthy stint at the Property Council of Australia means Ken also has a strong understanding of the needs of a membership organisation like TTF.
“Ken has led initiatives which have delivered great results for the property sector and we look forward to his leadership of TTF’s policy and advocacy agenda as we work towards the federal election in September.
“I welcome Ken and look forward to working with him in the months ahead.”
Morrison said he was very excited at the prospect of joining TTF.
“TTF is one of Australia’s premier advocacy and industry groups and it is a great opportunity to lead the organisation,” he said.
“It covers a great breadth and depth of policy areas and is also the nation’s only multi-modal transport industry group.
“TTF has a great history and has made a significant contribution to the development of Australian tourism over its lifetime and my aim is to build on that legacy.”
