Starwood is counting down to the opening of the Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort with a 3D street art festival.

Aerosoul Indonesia in partnership with asie.one, has brought together a group of creative talents in urban art, who will present their work at the Resort to mark the official opening of the complex, led by the 203-room Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort.

“2012 has been an exciting year for the Sheraton brand – a mark of 75 years of the brand anniversary and exciting expansion such as Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central, as well as Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort,” said Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort General Manager, Dario Orsini.

“We wanted to celebrate this occasion not with just any party, but rather to share it with the public and Aerosoul Indonesia with asie.one has helped us to realise this dream.

“We hope to inspire people to join in before the resort’s opening and creating a buzz of what we are all about at heart, as we believe life is better when shared.”

Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort and Aerosoul Indonesia with asie.one by Olli Frankel, a German born graffiti artist who led this painting project, will start to showcase the 3D art of the resort’s free form pool that will be displayed at Beachwalk main gate.

The 3D art took them 80 hours to complete, where every curving line and angle has been well designed specifically to capture travellers’ camera’s attention as well as the buzz in social media.

The 350x550cm-sized Street Art 3D of the resort’s pool will invite travellers and shoppers to stop by, taking snapshots in different poses. The exhibit will mark the first of many to come, with different cities currently in planning.
