The expansion of Quest Serviced Apartments is continuing at a rapid pace, with Quest Whyalla the latest property to open its doors.
The AUD$11 million, 4.5-star property is located on the corner of Moran and Ian Streets in close proximity to the airport, Westland’s Shopping Centre and Civic Park.
Quest Whyalla Franchisee Jennifer McDonnell knows the market well from her experience as the franchisee at nearby Quest Whyalla Playford.
“We know the location and flexibility we offer is a key drawcard for those visiting Whyalla for both extended and overnight stays,” she said.
“On site we have conference facilities and a swimming pool and also offer Quest services such as pantry shopping, dry cleaning, local restaurant charge-back and business administration.
“In my time working in the area I have seen the demand for [this] style of accommodation grow significantly. I’m confident that we will continue to cater to and support the growth of this market,” she said.
Quest Whyalla has 56 studio, one bedroom, 2 bedroom and three bedroom apartments. Each apartment is fully equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities, Austar, WiFi and multi unit desk chargers.
Quest Serviced Apartments Chairman Paul Constantinou said the opening of Quest Whyalla is a direct response to the region’s tenacious growth, attributable to the ongoing development of industries such as mining.
“Whyalla is thriving, fuelled by long term development of the resource industry, which has, in turn, brought significant investment in local infrastructure,” he said. “This growth is continuing to stimulate demand for functional and flexible corporate accommodation – a demand that we make it our business to respond to.”
