Club Med has launched its new ‘Visibility’ campaign in Brisbane to an audience of travel agents, airlines, travel media and industry personnel.
Over 100 industry personnel turned out to meet the Club Med National team members and hear Quentin Briard, General Manager for Club Med in Australia welcome guests to the event, and report strong sales growth despite the closure of Lindeman Island, and flag the new openings in Guilin China and Pragelato Italy, in the last half of 2012.
Club Med’s National Sales Manager, Marc Le Tourneau, presented the new concepts for the boutique style Club Med ‘in shop’ partnership to be launched with travel agents shortly. The agents will have custom fitted Club Med sales areas installed inside their agencies to improve visibility, because unlike in Europe, Club Med does not have dedicated high street shops here.
He also showcased innovative concepts for ‘pop-up shops’ in shopping centers and other high traffic zones to be developed with their Industry partners.
Club Med’s Queensland State Manager Jodie Weeks thanked her state based agents for their support and sales efforts, which this year sees them well above the national average for ski sales, and pre-sales to Pragelato in Italy.
