Billionaire Clive Palmer’s Sunshine Coast hotel is onto its third name in as many months, following this week’s rebranding of the former Hyatt Regency property as the Palmer Resort Coolum.
“The resort will now be known as Palmer Resort Coolum to better reflect the destination and the guest offerings now and into the future,” said the resort’s General Manager, Bill Schoch.
Palmer Resort Coolum had been operating as Coolum Golf and Spa after the split from Hyatt at the end of March.
Schoch signage and other branding would be “changed in due course”.
