Companies wishing to put forward speakers for the third annual Australasian Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition (AHICE) have until April 20 to submit white papers.
AHICE, hosted by HM magazine, is being held in Sydney on October 17, 2012 and will feature delegates, panelists and speakers from across the Asia-Pacific region, with a key emphasis on operations in Australasia.
In 2012 there will be a far greater focus on procuring relevant talent from outside the hotel industry. Luminaries from around Australasia’s hotel industry will still be involved as panelists and, of course, attending as guests – but feedback from our stakeholders has been clear, so we are looking to hear from experts in franchising, marketing and ROI from outside the hotel industry.

Paper Selection
Papers will be selected on the basis of quality of abstract, originality, topicality, relevance and providing solutions to issues.
Delegates to previous AHICE have indicated a preference for presentations based on case studies and practical applications, particularly where it has been possible to measure results. This will be reflected in the selection of papers and speakers for 2012.
Selection of papers will be made by the AHICE Advisory Board, whose decision will be final.
Presentation
Sessions are generally 40 minutes in duration, with additional time for questions.
Agreement
Persons submitting applications to present a paper do so with the understanding that they agree to the conditions, deadlines and decisions of the organising committee.
Speakers agree to waive copyright applying to material they present at AHICE 2012 in relation to its publication and use.
