- New look: St Kilda’s Cosmopolitan Hotel
St Kilda’s popular Cosmopolitan Hotel has welcomed its first guests after completing a significant refurbishment.
The property’s lobby refurbishment was undertaken by interior and furniture designers Hecker Guthrie, while the hotel room facelift was done by Rachel Kraus Interior Design and totaled over AUD$100,000.
“Rooms are not only aesthetically enhanced with bed heads and fashionable cushions, the practicality has improved just as much with more lighting, additional in room lounges and outdoor furniture in the rooms with balconies,” parent company 8Hotels said in a statement.
“The hotel lobby now offers a true living room feeling with a new seating area, dining table, rug, fresh plants and a working station.”
