Ayers Rock Resort is delighted to announce the launch of Tali Wiru, a dining experience like no other.
Limited to an intimate group of 20 people, the Tali Wiru experience begins with French Champagne and canapés around a firepit and progresses to the dune top for a Table d’hote four-course dinner, matched with premium Australian wine. They will also be treated to the sounds of the didgeridoo.
Voyages Executive General Manager Ray Stone said: “We are genuinely excited about launching this new experience. Sounds of Silence has been an extraordinary success through the years so it’s great to offer something which builds on that success and caters to a fine dining market.”
The menu includes Native Thyme and Garlic Grilled Darling Downs Wagyu Fillet, Wattleseed Rubbed Kangaroo Carpaccio, Macadamia and Lemon Myrtle crusted Barramundi Fillet and Dark Chocolate and Chilli Mousse. The dishes have been carefully paired with famous Australian wines such as Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz, Tasmanian Pinot Noir, Yarra Valley Merlot, Hunter Valley Botrytis Riesling and Rutherglen Marsanne.
After dinner, a local storyteller shares celestial creation stories while coffee, tea and dessert wine is served.
Tali Wiru launches on 1st April 2012, with the season extending until 15th January annually. It is available every day except Tuesdays and Thursday, runs for approximately four hours and costs $295 per person ($5,015 for exclusive use). Children under twelve are not catered for and groups of thirteen or more must book exclusively.
