Ayana Resort and Spa Bali has been named Asia’s Best Resort in the 2011 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, as voted by over 28,000 travellers.
With an overall score of 95.7, Ayana topped the list of the 20 Best Resorts in Asia and ranked 42 of the 100 Best Resorts in the World, in the magazine’s annual Readers’ Survey. The survey collated 8 million votes from discerning travellers across all categories to make it the travel industry’s most extensive and prestigious compendium of the world’s best destinations and places to stay.
Ayana General Manager Charles de Foucault thanked travellers for their continuing support since the resort rebranded in April 2009, when it was brought under the management of West Paces Hotel Group led by Horst Schulze.
“This award reaffirms the vision and excellence of our owner and the leadership of West Paces Hotel Group, but most of all it reflects our guests’ recognition of the passion, care and dedication of our 900+ staff, ” said de Foucault. “While Ayana’s facilities and amenities are world-class, it is really our staff who have won this award.
