The boutique Grand Chifley Brisbane, part of a new generation of Chifley Hotels, will be officially opened as Mosaic Grand Chifley Brisbane in mid-2013.
Complementing its sister property in Adelaide, the Mosaic Grand Chifley Brisbane will represent the first boutique hotel in the Constellation Hotels stable of hotels.
The new 48 room boutique hotel is positioned in the heart of Bribane’s Fortitude Valley and forms part of Leighton Properties’ AUD$150 million mixed use Mosaic development, which also features a landmark residential tower and over 3,000 square metres of retail and commercial space around a green urban courtyard.
Constellation Hotels Managing Director, Jonathan Wooller said: “The addition of the Mosaic Grand Chifley Brisbane represents a very exciting step for Constellation Hotels, as we continue to expand the Grand Chifley brand into the boutique accommodation market.”
Mosaic Grand Chifley Brisbane will be located on the corner of East, Church and Ann Streets in Fortitude Valley. It is positioned as a key element within the context of the city’s AUD$4 billion Urban Renewal Project and provides the final link between Fortitude Valley and the James Street and Emporium Precincts.
“Major new and recent developments in Fortitude Valley have created some of Brisbane’s most iconic retail and commercial locations. The Mosaic development provides an unparallel offering – to be at the centre of Brisbane’s number one growth market that currently attracts over 180,000 visitors per week,” Wooller said.
“Fortitude Valley is now recognised as the style and entertainment hub of Brisbane, reflecting our confidence in the market.”
Grand Chifley Brisbane’s luxurious guest rooms and suites will be equipped with the latest security, technology and in-room entertainment expected by the savvy modern day traveler, as well as offering a intimate and sophisticated lobby bar and café, reading rooms and meeting facilities.
