Accor Asia-Pacific has reaffirmed its commitment to Indigenous employment in Australia by launching a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) that’s the most comprehensive in the hospitality industry.
Speaking exclusively on camera to HM at the launch in Sydney on Monday (Mar 14), Accor Vice President – Australia, Simon McGrath, said as part of the plan, the company has committed that 3% of its Australian workforce would be indigenous.
McGrath was joined at the launch by Accor’s Honorary Chairman, David Baffsky – who has championed the company’s Indigenous employment over the last decade – along with the Minister for Indigenous Employment and Economic Development, Senator Mark Arbib, and Reconciliation Australia CEO, Leah Armstrong.
